日本搖滾群像 in pixnet

The Carpenters於1970年發行的歌曲。
其實這首「(They Long To Be) Close To You」是一首翻唱曲，
原先兩兄妹對於這首歌興趣缺缺，是在唱片公司老闆(？)的堅持下才改編翻唱的，
沒想到這首歌卻讓先前在首張專輯中翻唱了披頭四「Ticket to Ride」而剛開始小具知名度的The Carpenters一夕之間爆紅～

一直很喜歡這首歌，大概可以列入我個人的The Carpenters Best 5吧？
另外也被我擅自列為"最適合祝賀生日的歌曲"之一... (^.^*)
