其實我沒有這張專輯、只有精選輯，但偷專輯封面來放比較有Feel~XD

竟然連續兩天更新、而且是認真介紹歌而非五月蠅日記...我一定是中邪了XDD（毆）


如果這裡有人太年輕，不知道John Denver是誰，
提到他的超名曲「Take Me Home Country Roads」應該就知道了吧？
（如果連這首歌↑都不知道的話.....那我也不知道該怎麼辦了~ ╮(T▽T)╭）
John Denver是殿堂級的鄉村民謠創作歌手，
其實我只能算是非常非常外圍的似非Fan吧...但他有些歌我真的很喜歡，
打有記憶起就有在聽他的歌了，算是我那些不肖(老)兄長們對我極少數的貢獻之一XD

這首歌收錄於John Denver於1972年發表的專輯「Rocky Mountain High」，
有沒有發單曲我不知道（好像沒），在Denver Fan之中算不算人氣的名曲我也不知道，
但這首歌應該是John Denver的歌裡面、我最喜歡的吧～

最初只是單純地覺得這首歌真好聽～
後來認真聽歌詞、發現歌詞內容其實也相當動人啊...
雖然不確定這首歌背後的故事，
但我覺得這首歌應該真的是John寫給妻子（或戀人）的吧？因為實在太Real了～


歌詞是說他每次要遠行，對方都會因為捨不得又要再次和他分開而傷心落淚、發脾氣，
結果變成他每次踏上旅途之前都會上演兩個人爭吵的戲碼...

關於必須遠行的理由，John寫的很棒：
「I have to go and see some friends of mine, some that I don't know
　and some who aren't familiar with my name
　It's something that's inside of me, not hard to understand
　it's anyone who'll listen to me sing.」

其實他也是很捨不得和她分開的...：
「It seems a shame to leave you now, the days are soft and warm
　I long to lay me down again and hold you in my arms
　I long to kiss the tears away and bring you back your smile
　But other voices beckon me for a little while.」
「...As it is the time we have, is worth the time alone
　And lying by your side the greatest peace I've ever known.」


這首歌的歌詞對於那些已經有了家室但時常要到各地巡迴表演的Artist，
或任何因工作而必須時常長期離家在外的人應該都很有感觸吧...
（那些趁機在外面到處養地方妻的王八蛋並不在本篇的討論範圍之內）



不過這首歌有個很大的弱點：
副歌的和音寫得太好聽了！(人T0T)
我一開始會迷上這首歌就是因為副歌配的和音實在太好聽～
甚至我每次跟著唱這首歌、只要一唱到副歌部份，
我就會忍不住跳去幫忙唱和音那一邊XDDD（沒人想知道這個啦～）

那為何會說是弱點？因為一少了和音就覺得這首歌比較沒那麼好聽了！XD（失禮）
我曾經在YouTube找到John唱這首歌的Live影片，
但台上只有他拿一把吉他自彈自唱，沒有人幫他唱副歌的和音──當場就覺得差好多...
當然還是很好聽啦...但就是會覺得很寂寞嘛～

（其實Neil Young爸爸的「Heart of Gold」也有相同的弱點!!（←這家伙很堅持XD）
　最後Ending那一段、如果沒有配上那個超經典的和音是不行的啊啊啊~~~！！）
